How does a board year look like? |

Expand your network |
During a board year, you get to interact with boards from all throughout Groningen (and even throughout the Netherlands). More than this, you meet higher-ups from the University, partner companies representatives and many more influential people that you will be delighted to get to know. |

|
A lot of soft skills |
You will work with 5 other people in your board, with various personalities and backgrounds. To manage this, you will learn a lot about decision making, conflict management, work ethics, boundaries, time management and many more. |

Get to know the faculty & university |
Because we are a study association, we have very close contact with our faculty. You will learn a lot about the structure and hierarchy of both our faculty and the entire university, and you will get to know how it works internally. |

Personal development |
For each of the positions in the board, you will learn a lot about how to do the work. For example, the Chair learns about team management, the Secretary learns about administration, organization and communication, the Treasurer learns about finances etc. |
